in 2005 after nearly 20 years of working in various
Architectural firms through out the greater Seattle area.
During my tenure with other firms, I had the privilege to work on
some truly inspirational projects with some very talented

| j ARCHITECTS
is a single proprietorship. I am the principal, chief designer
and business partner all rolled into one. To help me with
production, I have arrangements with several Contract Draftsmen
who can provide me with resources beyond my one man office.
For larger projects, I have teamed up with other small firm
architects. I have found this arrangement works quite well
and allows me to keep costs down, keep projects on schedule, and
concentrate my efforts where they are most effective. I
believe everyone should be able to afford great
architecture. |

I am most inspired by residential
architecture and small, neighborhood commercial projects.
My past projects range from small residential remodels to multi-family
housing. I find my favorite projects are those where the
client stayed informed and involved through out the design
process. Also, it is essential that a strong relationship
between architect, contractor is established early on.
Everyone, this way, is vested towards a common, collaborative goal. |

| I believe a project should be developed with a
strong respect for the client's aesthetic, budgetary, and scheduling
needs. The project should strive to be sustainable and energy
conscious. I believe projects should be well designed and
detailed and adaptable to the client's present and future
needs. |
